GPS issues/ROM switching

Hello all,

Several months ago, I unlocked my phone via Sunshine and successfully flashed the Resurrection Remix ROM. I've recently noticed that GPS tracking does not function correctly, and I believe this issue is related to the ROM. I've tried custom gps.conf files, as well as apps that clear the aGPS cache, to no avail. These apps did not show any connected satellites, either. The GPS tracking is not precise, nor consistent, leading me to believe it's only pulling data from Wifi and mobile networks. My suspicions are further supported in this thread: http://ift.tt/2acs821. It appears that CyanogenMod based ROMs suffer from this issue on the Turbo.

So, I suppose my question is twofold. Does anyone know of a working fix for this issue on Resurrection? If not, I will have to return to a stock or similar ROM. I'm thinking Computerfreek's ROM should do the trick. Under that scenario - are there any particular steps I need to be aware of, e.g., any "gotchas" when moving from a CM based ROM back to a stock-ish one? Or is it as simple as downloading the radio files and the ROM's .zip for Computerfreek, and flashing them with TWRP, in that order?

I apologize if I've broken any forum rules, this is my first time posting here. I tried to do my due diligence searching the forums, and I think I know the answer to my problem, I just would like confirmation as I'm still not very adept with custom ROMs and such.

Thank you for your time and input. I appreciate any suggestions, advice, opinions, or solutions. Whatever you have to say I'm grateful!
