Many people using latest flagship android phones suffer from low fps while recording snapchat videos at night or dimly lit places .Well there is a workaround for that and its very simple.
First thing first make sure you have ROOT access .
1. Make sure you have lollipop or above ( though not necessarily but i tried it on lollipop and marshmallow )
2. Delete snapchat app ( u can download it later ofcourse )
3. Download build.prop from playstore
4. Grant root access to build.prop
5. Open build.prop and search for the keyword model. You will get a line that reads (ro.product.model) so basically we'll change the model number of the device.
6. Change the model number to OnePlus A3003
The reason to change the model number for whatever device you have to one plus 3 is cuz snapchat is highly optimised on one plus 3 .
7. Close build.prop and open it again to check whether the model number has changed
8. If it has changed to OnePlus A3003 then restart your phone
9. Dowload snapchat and login
10. Happy snapping
