TWRP 2.8.6.0 encrypted backup does not ask for password

I'm using TWRP 2.8.6.0 on my LG L90 and though I encrypt and compress my backup I can restore all apps installed on my internal memory from these backups using only the decompression function in a "Nandroid Manager" app. How come ?
Isn't it supposed to be encrypted ? :silly:
