Anyone else facing this really annoying lockscreen bug?

I can't specifically remember if this started happening after an OS update but I know it didn't happen from day one. Many times when I press the power button the top notification is automatically opened. I am running Android 6.0 stock.

Anybody else faced this issue? If yes did you resolve it or just used a third party lockscreen?
