I just got my new honor X2 / Mediapad X2 from aliexpress a 703L 32GB 3GB Ram model.
it's lock screen / it's own play store and others are chinese even setting english australian on factory reset didnt help.
I see an update is waiting for me, Android 6 and the UI v. 4.0 B211
I dont know if I should update as I dont want to be locked from installing a custom rom, as Android 6.0 might be hard to install a custom rom?!
Currently Android 5.1.1 and B112 Rom, are installed
Does anyone have good advice for me,
Will I be able to get english if I upgrade to Android 6.0? I am doubtfull as it's the huawei software thats in chinese!
Maybe Huawei UI 4.0 might allow more language options?!
All I want is to have Play store installed & have English on the lock screen.
I would be happy to flash a custom rom as I have done that in the past on other devices, I just dont know much about this one.
