Any way to get LTE Advanced (Cat.4, Cat.6, etc.)?

Is there any way to modify the baseband to allow LTE Advanced on the Verizon LG G3 (vs985)? I know there is a way to "unlock" different LTE bands via this thread but it would be nice to have Cat.4 or Cat.6. at 300 mbps.
